We sew custom headscarves made specifically to your measurements, designed for comfort, coverage, fashion, and confidence. We also make custom-sized soft fleece beanies suitable for casual wear and sleep. All items are made to order – nothing is pre-made or taken off a shelf.

Absolutely. Our headscarves are specifically designed to be secure and breathable during active pursuits – workouts, yoga, Zumba, outdoor activities, and more. Nikki designs from her own daily experience wearing a headscarf, so active comfort is built into every detail.
Yes. Gift certificates are available so that loved ones can support someone going through hair loss in a meaningful, practical way. Contact us to arrange one.

Customisation & Ordering

Yes – please get in touch and we’ll certainly try our best. Custom colour requests are definitely possible and we love working with customers to find exactly the right fabric for them.
Please allow 4 weeks from confirmation of your order. Because every item is started from scratch using your measurements once we receive your order, we need this time to ensure the quality you deserve. It’s quite possible your order will be finished sooner, but we quote 4 weeks to account for our current order queue.
We’ll send you simple step-by-step instructions for measuring your head when you place an order. It’s straightforward to do at home – and if you have any trouble, just give us a call and we’ll talk you through it.
Yes – we ship custom orders anywhere in New Zealand. In-person consultation services are based in Invercargill and surrounding areas, with travel available further afield for a small fuel charge.

Consultations

Yes – as part of a consultation we can offer personalised guidance on headscarf and beanie styling, and where helpful, tips for makeup application and enhancing eyebrows and eyelashes. This comes from Nikki’s own years of experience navigating the same challenges.
Most orders are handled easily by phone or email – we’ll guide you through everything. If you’re in Invercargill or surrounds and feel a personal visit would be helpful, just mention it when you get in touch and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

No special preparation is needed – just come as you are. We’re here to make the experience easy and comfortable for you. If you have any fabrics or colours in mind, feel free to mention them, but there’s no pressure to have any ideas at all ahead of time.
Of course! We warmly welcome the support of loved ones during your appointment. Many of our customers find it helpful to have someone with them, and we’re very used to it.

Nikki designed these products precisely because she couldn’t find anything comfortable enough on the market herself. Sensitivity and scalp health are at the core of every design decision.
Yes – we have lightweight cotton and linen options ideal for warmer months, and heavier fleece and cotton options for cooler weather. We also offer more elegant fabrics and styles suited to special occasions. Just let us know what you’re looking for and we’ll help find the right match.
Yes. Because every item is custom-made to measurements, we can create head coverings for individuals of any age or gender. Please get in touch to discuss your specific needs and we’ll work out the best solution together.

NZ Hair Loss Subsidy

In New Zealand, people experiencing permanent or temporary hair loss due to medical conditions – such as alopecia, cancer treatment, or other diagnoses – may qualify for a government-funded subsidy to help cover the cost of head coverings. Eligibility depends on your specific diagnosis and circumstances. We can advise you on the process to determine if you qualify and help with the necessary documentation.
Yes – if you’re eligible, the NZ hair loss subsidy can be used toward our range of head coverings. We are very familiar with the subsidy process and will happily assist you with the application and required documentation from start to finish.
The easiest first step is to contact us. We’ll talk you through your eligibility, explain what documentation is typically required, and advise you on the process so it’s as straightforward as possible.

Service Area & Gift Certificates

We provide custom head coverings for anyone anywhere in New Zealand – all orders are shipped nationwide. In-person services including home consultations are available in Invercargill city and surrounding areas. We’re also happy to travel further to meet you if required, with a small charge to cover fuel costs.
Yes – gift certificates are available so that family or friends can support a loved one in a truly meaningful way. A custom headscarf or beanie, or a consultation, can make an incredibly thoughtful gift for someone going through hair loss. Contact us to arrange a gift certificate.
